Glenda Paola Ramos, Psy.D. PSY30829

Dr. Ramos enjoys working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children. She specialized in those with psychological and neurodevelopmental challenges, such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability, disruptive behavior disorders, anxiety, trauma, and attention difficulties.

 

Dr. Ramos often works with children who have complex profiles that are not easily captured by a single diagnosis or formal label. She particularly enjoys helping families through their “first touch” with mental health care or developmental concerns.

Dr. Ramos prides herself in providing children and their family's to a supportive and flexible evaluation process, and recognizes the importance of building rapport and respecting the culture that lives inside every child's home.

 

Education and Experience: 

Dr. Ramos holds a bachelors in sociology and developmental psychology, a master’s degree in counseling psychology and a doctorate in clinical psychology.  She provides services in English and Spanish.

Dr. Ramos completed internships at the UCSF Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders Center and the Kaiser Autism Spectrum Disorder Center in San Francisco. She completed her APA accredited pre-doctoral internship at Child and Family Guidance Center in Northridge CA.  After graduating, she completed postdoctoral trained at the Rady Children's Hospital Developmental Evaluation Clinic with trainings at the Autism Discovery Institute.

 

Throughout her career she has worked with wide range of children, adolescents, and young adults with autism and related disorders doing consultation work and ABA therapy.
